Experienced urologist Dr. David DiPiazza graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in 1993. He then enrolled at New Jersey Medical School, where he earned his MD in 1998. Dr. DiPiazza completed a residency in the Department of Surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) before pursuing his interest in urology as a Junior Resident in Urology at Cooper Hospital and RWJUH, treating both children and adults. With that experience, Dr. David DiPiazza continued his studies in the Pediatric Urology unit at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital from 2001 to 2002. He then became a Senior Resident of Urology at Cooper Hospital and the University Medical Center at Princeton before taking on the role of Chief Resident of Urology at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, the Cancer Hospital and Institute of New Jersey, and RWJUH.
Currently, Dr. David DiPiazza treats patients at his private practice with Urology Specialists of West Florida, an organization maintaining offices in Palm Harbor, New Port Richey, and Tampa. He also serves as a Proctor for da Vinci Robotic Surgery and as the Chief of Surgery at Community Hospital in New Port Richey. Dr. DiPiazza possesses experience in male and female urology, pediatric urology, and urologic oncology, including the use of minimally invasive cryoablative technologies for treating cancer.
Dr. David DiPiazza maintains affiliations with the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the Florida Medical Association.
