Dr. Baratz works in conjunction with SleepMed Inc., a company with testing facilities located throughout the United States, to diagnose various sleep disorders in patients. Multiple sleep centers are available in the state of Arizona, and David Baratz, M.D., serves as Medical Director for SleepMed’s Arizona offices.

After a diagnosis for a sleep disorder is made, Dr. David Baratz prescribes treatment plans for his patients, using medications as well as mechanical devices to improve quality of sleep. He remains particularly successful in the treatment of sleep apnea, a condition in which the patient stops breathing for short periods or breathes at an abnormally low rate while sleeping. Dr. Baratz extensively studied various forms of sleep apnea throughout his career, serving as a co-investigator in clinical research studies, Medical Director of two sleep centers treating the disorder, and author of publications on the topic for various medical journals and periodicals.
