About Dr. Charles Silk
Charles Silk, D.D.S. started his career in dentistry by receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Following with his American Dental Association-recognized Prosthodontics specialization from the university’s Advanced Education Program, Charles Silk, D.D.S. began his private practice in New York. Directing and clinically practicing restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Charles Silk, D.D.S. counts several models, actors, and famous personalities among his clients.
Westchester Magazine listed Charles Silk, D.D.S. as a Best Dentist in its June 2009 issue. Charles Silk, D.D.S. performs various prosthodontal procedures, including cosmetic dentistry, porcelain veneers, dentures, dental implants, and crowns. Working with the most complex dental issues, Charles Silk, D.D.S. restores mouths’ healthy smiles. Charles Silk, D.D.S. consults with general dentists to build his patients’ unique dental restoration plans.
In addition to his private practice, Charles Silk, D.D.S. leads 32 students at the doctorate and post-doctorate level and works with 15 faculty members as Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. Charles Silk, D.D.S. earned an I. Kenneth Addison Prosthodontic Award for teaching at the college level and received recognition from the American College of Prosthodontics at one of its annual meetings. Apart from teaching and practicing dentistry, Charles Silk, D.D.S. also submits articles for publication in medical journals. Charles Silk, D.D.S. holds membership in many professional organizations, including the New York County Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontists, and the International Academy for Dental Facial Aesthetics.
Charles Silk, D.D.S. supports several charitable efforts. A volunteer at New York University Health Center, Charles Silk, D.D.S. also actively fundraises for breast cancer research. Most recently, Charles Silk, D.D.S. completed certification with the American Red Cross’ sailing program, which allows him to compete in racing events.
