Douglas Ganger currently resides is in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. He started spending his time in professional poker quite recently: the first official poker Tournament he participated in was held in April 1st, 2008. That was the No-Limit Hold’em Foxswood Poker-Classics Championship in Mashantucket. He finished at 17th position, cashing the amount of $6,543.
Just two months and a week later, Douglas entered the World Series of Poker H.O.R.S.E. in Las Vegas on June 11th. He finished in 2nd place, wining a prize of $182,822. And that was his highest poker achievement, since he hasn’t won a gold bracelet yet.
His last Tournament participation, for now, was about six days after his second participation, on the 17th of June, at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Championship of the Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo. There, however, Douglas ended on 22nd place, taking home $11,040 in cash.
Since he entered the poker world this year, Douglas only played in three tournaments and so far his total live winnings exceed $200,000. Of course, he intends to continue climbing the mountain of success and eventually win a golden bracelet.
