Born on December 14, 1977, Doreen Michleski attended Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Literature. Continuing her education at New York University, Doreen Michleski obtained a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies with an emphasis on film theory before launching her career as a freelance writer and editor.
