Don made his highest finish in the Main Event in 1991 when he made the final table and finished fourth. Then he won a prize of $115,000 for this achievement and that made his star shine even brighter.

Later, in 1993, in the 24th Annual World Series of Poker, that took place on the 28th of April, he won $79,350. And even though he wasn’t first, the audience and the critics were amazed by Don Williams’ ability to literally not show even a blink of emotion on his face – his enemies can never tell what’s really behind those senseless eyes.
In 1994, during the 25th Annual World Series of Poker, he earned himself the prize of $5,500 and shocked everyone with his win, which to everyone came out of the blue. Things might have looked bad for Don Williams in the beginning of the tournament, but that surely didn’t stop him from achieving yet another success in his poker player career.

The competition he had was really enormous. But Don Williams still managed to reach the place he is right now and that really puts him next to the most respected poker players. During the years, many players have found their nicknames – or the nicknames found them. And that’s what makes most people wonder why Don Williams doesn’t have one. But stars don’t just fall down from the sky. He was interested in gaming ever since he was young. We all know those endless summer days, spent in cards, coke and chips. And that is what makes great players so great - the ability to turn even such a small thing into the leading part of your life.
