Dody Roach is a professional poker player with more than 25-years of experience. He is a 58-year-old retired man and lives in Corpus Christi, TX, United States. He has always had interest in card games, but started playing poker in the mid 80’s. On May 16, 1981 he won his first bracelet from the World Series of Poker limit Omaha, where he earned $81,000.
The second bracelet Dody Roach won on April 25, 1996 in the 27th Annual World Series of Poker – Event 4, leaving with a check for $102,600 - this was in fact the biggest prize that he has ever won.

Dody Roach finished 3rd in the 21st Annual World Series of poker – Event 8, in which he played for the total prize of $28,350. In the early 80s, Dody Roach took part in the 13th, 14th and 15th Annual World Series of Poker. He won once 6th place and two times 8th place and more than $50,000 for this period.

In the early 90s, Dody Roach joined the 23rd and 24th Annual World Series of Poker, both of them with 9th place in the final table and more than $10,000. During his poker career he has 13 cashes and total winnings of $285,667. Dody Roach has totally 10 participations in the World Series of Poker, two of them with bracelets. Unfortunately, he has not entered any other events since 2003.
