Doddapaneni Kalyankrishna is a 24-year-old cricket player from Vijayawada, India. A part of India’s First-Class domestic circuit since the 2002-09 season, where he represents Andhra Pradesh, Kalyankrishna has been a prolific wicket-taker and useful lower order batsman.

A right-arm medium fast bowler, Kalyankrishna has picked up 165 wickets in domestic cricket, with a best bowling performance of 6 for 43 against Karnataka in a Ranji Trophy Super League encounter in 2006. Kalyankrishna has maintained a healthy bowling average of 24.62 and 29.87 at the First Class and List A levels respectively. Doddapaneni Kalyankrishna has also made some useful contributions with the bat at the domestic level, including a half-century at the List A level. He has scored over 500 runs at the domestic level, averaging 9 at the First-Class level and 12.8 at the List A level.

Doddapaneni Kalyankrishna has also performed admirably at the Twenty20 level, both for Andhra Pradesh and for the Deccan Chargers in the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 tournament set up by the BCCI with top players from around the world competing against each other in teams from eight cities. In eight matches, Kalyankrishna has picked up eight wickets at an average of 30.25, with best bowling figures of 4 for 16.
