About Dianna Bonny
Dianna Bonny - Professional Summary:
A stay-at-home mom with three children, Dianna Bonny is a committed member of her community and an active philanthropist. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Sciences, Ms. Bonny spent time after college traveling through Europe. She was hired as a Writer and Research Assistant for Euromoney magazine, working in London for two years. Returning to California in 1987, Dianna Bonny served as an Office Manager for Hampstead Financial and Allmerica Financial, and as an Event Planner for A Catered Affair in the San Diego area.
With her family as her greatest responsibility, Dianna Bonny is active in her children’s elementary parent-teacher associations. She also participates in numerous school fundraising events, and her organizational expertise has contributed to the re-design of events at two different schools, making them the largest fundraising events at the time.
Outside of her children’s schools, Dianna Bonny supports numerous charitable organizations. She has donated her time to the Oakland Children’s Hospital since working as a Candy Striper as a teenager. More recently, she joined the North Coast Auxiliary Unit, an organization that works in support of the efforts of Rady Children's Hospital of San Diego. Serving as President of the group, Ms. Bonny oversaw and co-created “Glamourama Girls Night Out,” which has become an annual event and raised nearly $1 million.
With varied interests and a broad skill set, Dianna Bonny has run the Honolulu Marathon in support of the Leukemia Society Team. She has also renovated and sold various properties in the North County San Diego area and continues to pursue her interest in event planning and catering. Ms. Bonny enjoys spending time outdoors and horseback riding with her children. She also enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and studying meditation.
