Devraj Patil is a 23-year-old wicket-keeper batsman best known for his role in the Bangalore Royal Challengers’ campaign during the first season of the Indian Premier League Twenty20 championship.

Patil made his First-Class debut in December 2007 in a match against Delhi. He has appeared in just one other First-Class match for Bangalore. In addition, Devraj Patil has also made 11 List A match appearances for Karnataka. He has scored a total of 178 runs in List A games at an average of 29.6 and a highest score of 52, his only half-century.

Behind the wicket Devraj Patil has claimed 15 dismissals – 13 catches and 2 stumpings – in his List A matches for Karnataka and is yet to pick up a dismissal in his First-Class career.

Devraj Patil has performed reasonably well at the Twenty20 level both for Karnataka and for the Bangalore Royal Challengers in the Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 league started by the Indian cricket board that consists of the world’s top players in teams from eight different Indian cities. In his T20 career, Patil has scored 229 runs at an average of 20.81 and a healthy strike rate of 113.36. His highest T20 score remains 44. As a wicketkeeper, Patil has picked up 9 Twenty20 dismissals – 7 catches and 2 stumpings.
