Derrison Steer - Professional Experience:    Derrison Steer has an extensive background in Latin American history and geography, as well as international business and marketing. He is currently the Graduate Assistant for the Oklahoma State University Career Services where he provides excellent customer services for students. He helps students develop résumés, cover letters, and provides job search assistance. The Career Service’s staff plan and set up Career Fairs on and around campus throughout the school year. He is also a second year varsity member of the 2010 National Champion Oklahoma State University Spirit Squad where he received the 2009 and 2010 Golden Spirit Award.

Derrison Steer - Education:     Derrison received his undergraduate degree in Language and International Trade with a minor in Business Administration from Clemson University.  However, he wanted to expand his business background. His passion for culture and history lead him to his Master’s of Science in International Studies degree in Cultural Heritage and Tourism Development from Oklahoma State University. He has been abroad and studied in several countries, including Spain and Costa Rica.  

 

 

Derrison Steer - Interests:    Outside of his career and athletic world, Derrison enjoys his time at home making coffee for his friends and family. His friends know him to be genuine, mature, and extremely school spirited. He has a rescued Siamese kitten who shares the same birthday, and a 13 year old Weimaraner who due to age now lives with his parents in Northern Virginia.
