About Derrick Pedranti
Multimedia developer Derrick Pedranti currently serves as Senior User Interface Designer with Ingram Micro, Inc. based in Santa Ana, California. In his role with Ingram Micro, Inc., Derrick Pedranti develops websites for the firm's clients, primarily utilizing Flash animation and various Web 2.0 functionalities. Derrick Pedranti also contributes to efforts within the company, implementing and leading a Future Think committee to help implement Web 2.0 technologies. In addition, Derrick Pedranti creates PowerPoint presentations for Ingram clients and events. Since joining the company in 2007, Derrick Pedranti has earned several accolades for his work, including the Ingram Micro Award of Honor and Team Contributor Awards.
Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Inc., Derrick Pedranti cultivated years of experience in design and programming through positions with Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., 24 Hour Company, OptionWealth, Inc., and Fit & Healthy Lifestyles, Inc. In addition, Derrick Pedranti directed his own freelance digital design company, C2 Design Studio, from 1999 to 2007. As Managing Director of C2 Design Studio, Derrick Pedranti served as creative lead on numerous projects, utilizing Flash animation, ActionScript, and other back-end and front-end design programs.
Derrick Pedranti holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. During his college experience, Derrick Pedranti studied overseas in Germany for a semester. Since embarking on his career, Derrick Pedranti has continued to further his education and training through coursework in Interactive/New Media Design and Development at George Washington University.
