Derek Galli - Professional Summary:
California resident Derek Galli possesses a rich history in professional tennis. A former Brigham Young University-Hawaii student, Derek Galli attended his undergraduate years on a tennis scholarship. In 1991, he returned to BYU-Hawaii and coached the women’s tennis team for one year. His leadership and guidance led them to a final ranking of 5th in the NAIA, and also resulted in two of the team members being recognized as All-Americans. Though now more focused on finance and insurance, Derek Galli maintains a strong connection to the tennis industry. He is an active member of the United States Professional Tennis Association, and operated as a former President and Coach for the Junior Team Tennis League in California. Additionally, in his spare time, Derek Galli enjoys teaching tennis to his children, nieces, and nephews.
