Dennis “ironman” Perry is a 57-year-old professional poker player from Williamstown, KY, United States, who worked as an ironworker for 32 years in and around Cincinnati. That earned him the nickname “ironaman” and living up to it he has demonstrated nerves of steel in his tournaments. In his career he has 18 cashes in major poker tournaments but so far a single 1st place finish – in the Grand Casino Tunica Poker Tournament – World Series of Poker Circuit event and won $563,402. The same year he participated in the 38th Annual World Series of Poker and even though he did not make it to the top 5, he earned more then $130,000.
Of course, we are probably going to see even more from him in the future, but as of 2008, he already has 20 cashes, one first place finish and total live tournament earnings that exceed $1,000,000.
