Dennis Gomer’s work projects have been diverse. One of his computer security projects involved increasing network security of the Kentucky State University’s computer system to eliminate illegal music downloads. In another project, Dennis Gomer improved bandwidth and network security in a Kentucky school district’s network when instant messenger traffic threatened to overwhelm the system. Dennis Gomer also designed a solution that prevented the use of MSN and Yahoo! Inc., but continued to enable clients to use Skype Limited. In the course of his work with various school systems, Dennis Gomer has become proficient in the federal grant process and has been instrumental in assisting school districts in receiving over $100 million in grants.
