Mr. Dennis G. McLaughlin serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of several multimillion-dollar corporations, including Evolution Resources, Inc. and Evolution Fuels. Dennis G. McLaughlin brings to each position an expertise developed over a long and successful professional career.
Big Star Media Group, Inc., an entertainment and information distributor, represents a new and exciting venture for Dennis G. McLaughlin, who has previously focused his talents primarily in the energy and natural gas industries. As Chairman of the Board at Big Star Media Group, Dennis G. McLaughlin applies his business insight to help the company achieve its goal of using advanced and emerging technologies to connect artists in the music and film industry with consumers. Dennis G. McLaughlin supports Big Star Media’s mission to produce films in multiple formats, provide webcasting of concerts, and promote new artists of all kinds. In addition, Dennis G. McLaughlin helps guide the subsidiaries of Big Star Media Group, including Big Star Live, Big Star Records, Big Star Informative Media, Big Star Films, and Big Star Communications.
Dennis G. McLaughlin’s career began in the energy industry and rapidly advanced when he founded his own profitable and nationally recognized company, Aurora Natural Gas, LLC, in 1993. Since that time, Dennis McLaughlin has contributed his entrepreneurial and managerial skills to a variety of other prominent enterprises, specializing in startups in the natural gas productions field. In addition, Dennis G. McLaughlin has advanced research and the development of emerging technologies in the natural gas industry in high-level positions at firms such as Clinton Natural Gas, Highland Energy, and Apollo Resources International, Inc.
A musician, Dennis G. McLaughlin plays the guitar and performed in a popular band in his youth. Dennis G. McLaughlin also enjoys reading, playing sports, and giving back to his community through contributions to the David Fite Memorial Foundation for Youth Activities. Dennis G. McLaughlin was honored with a Regents Outstanding Alumni Award from his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, from where he graduated in 1992.
