Dennis G. McLaughlin, a prominent senior-level executive with over 25 years of experience in the energy and natural gas industry, recently contributed his keen business acumen and understanding of emerging technologies to the entertainment and media industry as well.
Since 2009, Dennis G. McLaughlin has served as the Chairman of the Board for Big Star Media Group. Also the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Evolution Resources, Dennis G. McLaughlin has managed the multimillion-dollar energy company’s operations and assets with unprecedented success.
Dennis G. McLaughlin has vast experience in developing the resources of startup companies, where his entrepreneurial skills are valuable assets. Dennis G. McLaughlin began his career in the natural gas industry in 1990 as a Marketing Representative for Clinton Natural Gas. Soon, Dennis G. McLaughlin was recruited as a Manager of Marketing and Transportation for another leading company, Highland Energy.
Having acquired a deep understanding of the issues pertinent to the industry and spurred by his own pioneering sense, Dennis G. McLaughlin launched his own company, Aurora Natural Gas, LLC, in 1993. Aurora Natural Gas was honored with Entrepreneur magazine’s coveted title as one of the “Hottest New Small Businesses in America.” With an initial investment of only $77,000, Dennis G. McLaughlin negotiated the sale of his shares of Aurora for $26 million.
Further profitable ventures in which innovation is key have cemented Dennis G. McLaughlin’s reputation as an aggressive, reputable, and highly successful business leader. As head of Evolution Resources, Inc., Mr. McLaughlin has led projects designed to create biofuel productions systems, including a cellulosic ethanol production plant in the State of Washington that will generate four million gallons of ethanol annually. Other creative and profit-oriented projects Dennis G. McLaughlin has planned for Evolution Resources, Inc. include the restructuring of a former pulp mill to produce 60 million gallons of cellulosic ethanol a year and modifying an oilseed crusher plant to extract oil from soybeans. Dennis G.
