Dedrick Winn joined the U.S. Army in 1997 and spent 16 years working as a health care sergeant. In this position, he was responsible for helping with patient care and administering emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties. Also within his role, Dedrick Winn was in charge of the preparation of blood samples sent for analysis and for prepping patients for any needed procedures. Additionally, he held administrative health care duties that involved assisting in the smooth operation of a surgery clinic, ensuring all laboratory work was prompt and accurate, and that all patients were efficiently screened and attended to in a timely fashion.
After serving his country in a health care capacity, Mr. Winn received his bachelor of science in health care administration from the University of Phoenix in December of 2013. While living in Germany, Mr. Winn enjoyed visiting Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, and Spain.
