In his next position as Manager of Marketing Research at the International Wool Secretariat, David Werner’s expertise in developing Woolmark’s famous brand inspired imitation in leading textile producers, such as the American Cotton Board. In 1977, David Werner relocated to the United States to serve as the Director of Market Research for Azcon Corporation. Upon leaving Azcon Corporation, David Werner met John Crystal and together formed Crystal-Werner, known today as David Werner International Co.
