David Weingold - Professional Summary:    

Since 1999, dermatologist David Weingold, MD, has treated patients with skin conditions at his private practice in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Prior to moving to Jonesboro, Dr. Weingold practiced for a number of years in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. David Weingold attended Franklin and Marshall College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies, graduating magna cum laude. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, followed by an internship at North Carolina Memorial Hospital. Finally, he pursued a residency in dermatology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he earned the position of Chief Resident as a result of his excellent work in the program. Dr. David Weingold published a number of articles both during his undergraduate studies and as a medical student. As a resident, Dr. Weingold presented at a national meeting of dermatologists regarding the use of the advanced Mohs surgical procedure on dermatofibroma protuberans tumors. 

Dr. David Weingold holds board certification from the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Recently, he earned the designation of best dermatologist from local television station KAIT. Dr. Weingold has also received recognition from the American Academy of Dermatology for his volunteer work performing skin cancer screenings and teaching medical residents. Outside of his private practice and volunteer duties, Dr. Weingold serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine.
