Beginning his career with M&M/Mars, Inc., David Pomrinca quickly proved his managerial capability and analytic prowess to move through various finance functions within the organization, leading to a role that positioned him as the financial representative on a cross-functional team responsible for optimizing sales growth and profitability. 

During the time in this role, one of David Pomrinca’s notable accomplishments was performing an in-depth, comparative return-on-investment (ROI) analysis to facilitate the market introduction of a multi-million dollar product extension. David Pomrinca left M&M/Mars, Inc. in 2001, accepting a position with Pfizer Inc. David Pomrinca served in a number of roles over the course of his tenure at Pfizer, consistently achieving improvements in productivity and profitability by implementing actionable, creative strategic growth initiatives. As Senior Finance Manager of Business Development, David Pomrinca lent his expertise to several business expansion teams, including the evaluation of new Rx-to-OTC switch opportunities. In this capacity, David Pomrinca supported the negotiation of the licensing agreement that eventually lead to an agreement of marketing and selling a greatly anticipated Rx-to-OTC switch allergy medication. Additionally, David Pomrinca also financially managed a newly launched, innovative portable health care business in the United States that generated approximately $20 million in revenue and $3 million in profit. 

Following Johnson & Johnson’s acquisition of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, David Pomrinca began to utilize his skills as a Finance Manager, first for Johnson & Johnson’s Wound Care Division, then for the company’s US Consumer Products division. Employing his understanding of budgeting, planning, and forecasting, David Pomrinca was able to successfully manage the integration and consolidation of the newly formed consumer division.
