David Mendivil Gonzalez - Professional Summary:    Having served GMAC in the position of Director of Underperforming Assets, David Mendivil Gonzalez holds almost 20 years experience in the real estate investment trade. Launching his career after receiving a degree in Actuarial Sciences at the Universidad Anahuac in 1992, Mr. Mendivil González returned to his studies when he received the opportunity to attend Harvard University in 1996. A postgraduate degree in Business and Finance from Harvard now complements David Mendivil Gonzalez’s extensive real estate career.

Known for his risk management solutions, high moral standards and ability to negotiate, David Mendivil Gonzalez currently holds two leadership roles at major real estate firms. Working with Mexico Retail Advisors as Commercial Director, Mr. Mendivil Gonzalez serves over 350 of the world’s most major multi-national organizations. At Grupo Desarrollador del Noroeste, S.A., de C.V., he operates as President and Director.

At Grupo Desarrollador del Noroeste, David Mendivil Gonzalez acquires, redevelops, and markets distressed properties. Managing every step of the process, he helps structure investment trusts and mortgage-backed security offerings for the firm. He also leads investment in housing developments for families with low-incomes. Understanding the economic hardship many families are going through, the firm purchases, reconstructs, and sells these homes.

At Mexico Retail Advisors, Mr. Mendivil Gonzalez extends his knowledge in acquisition, redevelopment, and sale to such companies as Starbucks, Carl’s Jr., Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Office Depot, Citibank, and Scotiabank. After development of these commercial properties, he continues to oversee the tenancy agreements the companies make.
