About David Johnson
David Johnson:
Professional Summary:
I started training to be a leader early in high school as my troop's Senior Patrol Leader, following that up by becoming an Eagle Scout. I transferred my leadership skills to my job at Friendly's Restaurant, becoming a manager in 2007. At the beginning of 2008 I joined the Marine Corps and served as my group's Class Leader through both Military Occupational Specialty schools, graduating as my class's Honor Graduate both times, including one Meritorious Promotion and one Certificate of Commendation.
After completion of school I was stationed in MCAS New River and was promoted to Corporal on the first day eligible after only 2 and a half months. I am currently working on becoming a Project Lead for Lean Six Sigma events within the Squadron and have completed Green Belt training.
Professional Experience:
Manager at Friendly's Restaurant for 2007 in Medfield. Left to join the Marine Corps.
Jan 09 - Present: Electrical Flight Control Systems Technician in the Marine Corps.
Education:
Graduated High School from Medfield in 2005.
2005-2007 as a Computer Science Major at Northeastern University before joining the Marine Corps
2008 training through Marine Corps and Naval schools as an Avionics Flight Control Systems Technician
David Johnson - Interests:
I love playing and watching Ice Hockey (my favorite team is the Boston Bruins). I enjoy learning new information from everyone around me, from basic medical sciences to car tuning and audio equipment. I also spend free time repairing and upgrading computers for friends and family.
