I have very sound Engineering background and have 25+ years experience in the field.

I realise i do not have a degree, but 25+ years in the industry, with 15 years as a workshop/Installations Director, i hope would go some way to compensate for that fact.

 

In this role i have been in charge of all aspect of production.Shedules of work, BOM’S, staffing levels and capital purchases.

Identifying KPI's and always searching for ways to improve productivity.

 

Very good communication skills and computer literate (Excel, Word, Adobe)

Sound cad skills (AutoCAD/Solid edge).

Excellent Fabrication/Installation knowledge and all allied processes to produce the finished projects.

 

Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and have a good understanding of budget requirements and the need to be cost effective.

Project management skills, concept, design, and budgets thro to manufacture.

Liaising with Clients, Fit out and Manufacture to ensure delivery and customer satisfaction.

 

Working closely with design on bespoke 1off items of Furniture, Architectural Metalwork and unique builds, mostly in the Mega yacht Industry.

I enjoy having input/ideas to realise customers/Design/Architects requirements and enabling manufacture to produce.

Very keen eye for detail and will push staff/suppliers to maintain a high standard of finish and agreed delivery times.

 

Fully conversant with engineering drawings and able to break down for manufacture or issue to Sub-Contractors.

Able to deal with the day to day issues that arise in a workshop/Site environment and deal with the problems quickly and efficiently.

i.e.; Health and Safety, HR, Maintenance and production issues.

 

Strong personality and able to make decisions on my own, taking into consideration advice given by Customers, Design, Staff and Director's

 

Always willing to learn new skills to further my career and Looking for an opportunity to advance myself.

Relocating/Travelling would not be a problem having work abroad on many occasions. Europe/Middle East.

 

I am sure given the chance i will prove to be a valuable employee.
