Directed the development of replacement Retail ERP system (Oracle Retail)
Developed and agreed revised organisation and operating model for the IT function, including KPIS / Steering Wheel.
Prepared the Strategic IT Plan for new development activity in 2010.
Initiated a pilot of the HR Strategy in IT.

Implemented Oracle Retail applications supporting the introduction of best practice processes in the International businesses.
Based in Bangalore, India for two years, building Tesco’s offshore IT maintenance and development operation and assessing the option of relocating International IT management.
Managed the redevelopment and implementation of Tesco Clubcard systems for international operations.
Implemented HR systems (PeopleSoft) and managed the testing of all Retail applications prior to the opening of new Fresh & Easy stores in California USA.
Obtained Board approval for international consolidation of Financial processes and systems.

Managed the successful roll out of 8000 hand held devices to all large stores. Delivered stock and price management systems achieving annualised benefits in excess of £8M.
