At 14 years old, Darren Meade lived alone on the streets after his parents abandoned him. Once homeless and weighing less than 100 pounds, Darren Meade now arranges multi-million dollar business deals.
A survivor and a true innovator, Darren Meade eventually made a name for himself leveraging adversity for positive growth and success. In his youth, Darren Meade developed a passion for bodybuilding at the gym where he found a foster home. After his biological father’s suicide, Darren Meade committed himself to attaining spiritual and personal development and making a profound difference in the world. Years later, Darren Meade won numerous bodybuilding competitions, including the International Federation of BodyBuilders Mr. North America title for the middleweight division.
In 2008, an accident left Darren Meade with a 10 percent chance of survival. Physicians needed to perform an experimental surgery on his aorta, a procedure which left him in a coma that endured for three weeks. Warned that he would likely not regain the use of most muscles, Darren Meade committed himself to recovering post-surgery. Determined to not just survive but also thrive, Darren Meade began conducting research that paved the path for PROGENEX muscle recovery products.
Recently, Darren Meade accepted the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer at PROGENEX Dairy Bioactives, Inc. Although in an advisement position for just a brief period thus far, Darren Meade has already played a significant role in shaping the company’s future growth. Despite his remarkable history of perseverance and accomplishment, Darren Meade has endured Internet harassment and bashing since taking on the role. Darren Meade hired a forensic specialist team to stop this unjust and unwarranted treatment. Sensitive to the stress related to online harassment, Darren Meade now feels passionate about combating cyber-bullying; smear campaigns and advocating for its victims.
