Danny Simpson, born on January 4, 1987, in Salford, England, played for Parkwyddn Juniors Football Club (J.F.C) in Eccles, in his youth. He had his first major breakthrough in 2005, when he was shortlisted for the reserve squad of Manchester United, one of the most popular English Football clubs in the world.


Danny Simpson was sent on loan to Royal Antwerp, a prominent second-division club in the Belgian Football Association, in January 2006, for the rest of the season, to gain experience. In July that year, Danny Simpson debuted for the Reds against Kaizer Chiefs, a South African Football club, which they defeated 1-0,
Danny Simpson has also made two champion league appearances for the team. His European debut came in October 2007, as a substitute, in a match against Dynamo Kyiv, a Ukrainian football club. He made his first appearance at the English Premier League in the same month in a match against Wigan Athletic, a popular football club in Great Manchester. Though he came in as a substitute, he set up the Manchester’s fourth goal in its 4-0 win. He made it to the starting eleven for the first time at the European level against Dynamo Kyiv in November that year.


Danny Simpson went on to make his town debut against Scunthorpe United, an English football team at the Coca-Cola Championship, in March 2008. The same month, he was signed by Ipswich Town Football Club on loan for the remainder of the season. Manchester United, the team has extended their contract with Danny Simpson until the end of 2010. He has been secured by Blackburn Rovers, another English Premier League football club for the 2008-09 season.
