A resident of Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami Beach, Florida, Mr. Lazarek currently serves as CFO and one of the two owners of Access Insurance Holdings, Inc. In his time as CFO since 1999, Dan Lazarek helped Access Insurance Holdings, Inc. become one of the fastest-growing companies in the country.


After receiving his MBA from the University of Rochester William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing, Dan Lazarek quickly began to prove himself at a variety of telecommunications and technology firms. At the Frontier Corporation, Dan Lazarek earned the position of U.S. Marketing and Business Development Director. This put him in charge of marketing functions for 37 telephone companies operating in 14 states, with an annual revenue stream of more than $650 million dollars.


Serving as Executive Vice President at Citizens Communications, Dan Lazarek undertook profit/loss responsibility and management of the company’s retail and wholesale markets. In his three years as Vice President, Dan Lazarek successfully grew the top and bottom line by 30 percent annually and built a sales force from the ground up that included more than 1,500 direct and indirect selling personnel, 24 retail centers, and more than 500 customer service agents.


As the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of WorldPort Communications, Inc., Dan Lazarek grew revenue from $2 million per month to more than $5 million per month and helped turn a $2-million EBITDA loss into a monthly profit in less than two years. Mr. Lazarek also served as Chairman of the Board for ASCENT, the largest competitive communications trade industry association in the United States. His success has continued in his time as CFO of Access. The company ranked in Inc. Magazine’s top 5,000 fastest-growing U.S. companies for the fourth time in 2010 and ranked in the top 20 for two separate years since Dan Lazarek became CFO.

Majority of assets were sold to Energis, United Kingdom for 0M+ in cash in a transaction signed in 1999 and completed in 2000. Profit\Loss responsibility which through “turnaround” management capabilities grew revenue from M per month to M+ per month and reversed (M) per month EBITDA loss to 0K+ per month positive EBITDA in two year period. Day-to-day operating responsibility included operating functions including sales\marketing, customer operations, regulatory, human resources, and finance.
