Daniel Wank, Doctor of Dental Surgery, is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He served his alma mater as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine, and he currently manages a private practice in New York City, Daniel Wank, DDS, PC.
After graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. Daniel Wank began an internship at the New York Veterans Administration Hospital (currently the Manhattan Campus of the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System). He completed his internship in 1987 and then commenced a two-year Periodontics residency at the same hospital.
As a practicing member of a medical profession, Dr. Daniel Wank maintains membership with a number of relevant local and national organizations. He is a part of the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and the First Madison Dental Society. At one point, he served the Eastern Dental Society of the First District Dental Society (New York County Dental Society) as its President. Dr. Wank is also a member and previous President of the NYU Alumni Association. He holds further distinction as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Daniel Wank’s practice specializes in general dentistry and periodontics for adults and children. Patients receive checkups and other evaluations before being expertly diagnosed and treated for a wide range of dental ailments, including tooth trauma and gum disease. Patients may also obtain cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, caps, veneers, and implants. Dr. Wank prides himself on a willingness to work weekends, stay late, and come in early for emergencies and patient convenience.
When he is not working, Dr. Daniel Wank spends his time with his wife and two children. He also likes to play tennis and watch his favorite New York sports teams.
