About Dale Croy

Dale Croy has decades of experience in criminology, criminal justice, and psychology. He received his bachelor's degree in criminology and psychology from Florida State University, after which he began a long career in the field. For more than 25 years, Dale Croy was the chief criminal investigator for the Office of the State Attorney in Florida. He worked alongside local law enforcement agencies to oversee the investigation and preparation for trial of all felony cases in the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida. In this position, he testified in court many times and developed solid guidelines for prosecution.

Over the course of his career in law, Dale Croy was involved with several service organizations. He received the Furtherance of Justice Award from the Tallahassee Kiwanis Club and the Lion of the Year award in 1972. He also coached a Little League baseball team and was an assistant Boy Scout leader during this time. Croy is currently a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, the Florida chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates, the Florida State University Alumni Association, and the Florida State University Seminole Boosters.
