As a member of the senior management team at The Building Intelligence Group Limited who managed property-related projects for government and Crown agencies in New Zealand, including the Ministry of Defense, New Zealand Police, the Department of Justice, and Commerce Commission. In the past, Craige Mayo also served as a senior executive at one of New Zealand's top-five group housing companies, which developed greenfield land into large-scale housing estates.
Complementing his experience at the local level, Craige Mayo possesses an extensive background in the Pacific region. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Islands Partnership Limited, Craige Mayo specialized in acquiring long-term native land leases in Fiji for the purpose of developing tourist resorts. In addition to preparing business plans and conducting feasibility studies, Craige Mayo spent nearly two years lobbying the government of Fiji for foreign investment and tourism development. With experience in land acquisition, native leases, and government compliance, as well as numerous other areas, Craige Mayo has since functioned as a consultant for independent clients in the region.
In his free time, Craige Mayo enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, and four-wheel driving. Additionally, Craige Mayo holds certification in pre-hospital emergency care and actively volunteers with W.E.S.T. Crew for the Off Road Association of New Zealand as a marshal and recovery first responder.
