About Conor Murnane
Upon graduation from Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois, Conor Murnane enrolled in a number of university classes focused on exercise science and now employs his expertise in several ways. In March 2011, he accepted a position of Personal Trainer with XSport Fitness in Libertyville. Murnane assists a variety of people in this position, from athletes seeking to prepare for upcoming events to others who simply wish to boost their cardiovascular endurance. In the past few months, he guided a woman who sought to shed a considerable amount of weight; through monitoring her regimen closely, he helped her lose 40 pounds and achieve a sustainably lower lean to fat ratio.
Striving to remain knowledgeable about the developments in his professional community, Conor Murnane holds membership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Founded more than 30 years ago, NSCA provides a host of informative resources, including conferences, publications, and podcasts that detail the intricacies of strength training. In addition to progressing as a trainer through his connections with NSCA, Conor Murnane offers his services to the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County.
The organization connects fitness enthusiasts, including Murnane, with people with disabilities.
