Dedicated to the continued growth and sustained integrity of the legal profession, Connolly Oyler has held a number of top-level positions across a wide array of legal institutions. After being admitted to The State Bar of California, Connolly Oyler later served as Chairman of the Family Law Section Executive Committee. Connolly Oyler remains active as a member of the Family Law Section and Judiciary Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, formerly serving as the organization’s Vice Chair of the Arbitration Committee. Connolly Oyler has been a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association since 1963, formerly serving as its President and Family Law Section Chairman. Connolly Oyler also belongs to the Santa Monica Bar Association, previously presiding as President and Co-Chairman of its Family Law Section. In addition to these duties, Connolly Oyler presently acts as a Superior Court Mediator, Arbitrator, and Judge Pro Tem, as well as a Special Master of The State Bar of California, serving in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. In addition to his service to the legal community, Connolly Oyler remains firmly committed to educating the next generation of attorneys to enter the profession. Widely regarded as an expert on family law matters, Connolly Oyler frequently attends seminars and gives presentations on the latest topics within the field. Connolly Oyler has been invited to speak to the American Bar Association, The California State Bar Association, and California Trial Lawyers Association. In order to ensure consistent, first-rate education at the graduate level, Connolly Oyler serves on the Board of Advisors at Pepperdine University School of Law. Connolly Oyler currently practices family law at Oyler & Woldman, which he founded in 1959. A four-time recipient of Los Angeles magazine’s Super Lawyers Award, Connolly Oyler also earned the prestigious AV rating on Martindale.com from the peer review service Martindale-Hubbell, indicating a high degree of professionalism and ethical conduct.
