After graduating from the University of Maryland, Connie Du took a summer internship with HMA Associates, a Washington, D.C., health communications firm focused on multi-cultural issues. She shadowed a number of staff positions, gaining insight into individual projects and tasks, and into the industry as a whole. In the course of her workplace interactions, Ms. Du assisted in graphic design, writing creative briefs, and editing government proposals.
Connie Du?s professional experience extends to three years spent with the health and fitness facility Columbia Association in Columbia, Maryland. Her responsibilities as a Front Desk Associate include answering customer queries and maintaining an efficient work environment that enhances customer satisfaction. Ms. Du has an interest in all aspects of health and fitness, including nutrition and the psychology of wellness. With the Columbia Association, she has the opportunity to help annually design the layout of workout equipment in response to member feedback. Connie Du is CPR/AED certified, and currently working towards personal trainer certification.
