In 1975, John Gagliano opened a body shop on Nine Mile Road in Warren, naming it Motor City Collision. Ten years later he opened another shop in Sterling Heights Michigan and changed the company name to Collex Collision Experts. Two decades have passed and Collex Collision Experts has grown into 11 locations, becoming Metro-Detroit's #1 collision repair facility in the process. In April of 2007, Collex Collision Experts branched out beyond Michigan, opening a location in Ft. Myers, Florida.
