Colleen Murphy completed her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, where she joined the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. After graduation, she pursued a position as an Account Executive at Adams Business Media in Cathedral City, California. Her strong sales skills and leadership abilities led the company to promote her to Group Publisher in 1993.
After working in advertising sales for over 10 years, Colleen Murphy embarked on a new path in medical sales in 2009 when she accepted an invitation to join the sales team at Illinois-based CPC Pathology. The organization provides critical laboratory services to medical practices and clinics. During more than two years with CPC Pathology, Murphy boosted sales by more than 20 percent. Colleen Murphy recently started in a new position as an Independent Representative for CryoPen, Inc., where she performs training and client education about the company's products.
An avid sports enthusiast, Colleen Murphy placed first in the Women's Aid Tee Party, a charity golf event hosted by The Hershey Company and Caterpillar. She also supports the St. Viator's women's lacrosse team by overseeing the group's fundraising initiatives.
