Interests and Activities:

 

An intrepid traveller, I take every opportunity to get out into nature and see new places. I am culturally aware and interested in people, at work, travelling and at home where I enjoy time-out with my fiancé and my friends. I am independent and self-reliant and if I set my heart on something, I go out and get it, even if I don’t really know which direction I need to go to get there, I work it out along the way. I have travelled through New Zealand and right across South America, I have volunteered at home and abroad for environmental issues and specifically, since my trip to Brazil I have taken a position on Iracambi’s Board. I endeavour daily to learn new ways I can live my life more sustainably, only taking what I need and positively changing the way I live day-to-day. I also write articles on this subject and others and with any spare time I have left I live my other passion, music, by DJing, sometimes at events like weddings and birthdays. When asked to describe me during a work activity a colleague once said: “You have unequivocal energy, you’re like the Duracell bunny, dangle the carrot, point you in the direction of the task and off you’ll march banging your drum. All of which would be undertaken with an enthusiasm and determination that is infectious!”
