CJ Barth - Professional Summary:   

 I am a Christian singer/songwriter with a music ministry, "Scriptures, Stories and Songs".  I am currently sharing my "Time to Come Home" Tour this summer and fall 2009.  I also enjoy writing and performing secular music- I have written a wealth of blues, rock, southern rock, pop, country, folk and jazz music, too.  I have also co-written 3 original musicals for J.H. and Elementary School.  The most recent, "Choices", contains songs that I co-wrote and also wrote individually.  I am looking to get it published soon as it is timely, music is current that children can relate to and enjoy (rock, southern-rock, a little of rap and pop).  I have a sound track with also karaoke tracks for performance.  The musical is less than 45 minutes in length- and addresses many issues students are faced with today: divorce, being a "new kid", bullying, etc.  The music encourages students and adults to "make a difference" in the lives of others. CJ Barth - Professional Experience:    

 I have been teaching vocal music in the public schools since 1985.  I have taught in Indiana 10 years at the same elementary school teaching music.

 Graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School - Fort Dodge, Ia.

Graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (vocal and organ emphasis) 

CJ Barth - Interests:     I enjoy writing music, playing and performing music with others, golf, traveling,humanitarian and charity work- ]
