Cindy Arlana Singh joined the New York City law firm of Segal & Greenberg LLP in 2013. As an associate with the firm, she focuses on matrimonial and family law litigation.
In her current position, Ms. Singh appears in both Supreme Court and Family Court to argue motions and to conduct trials and hearings. She also conducts legal research and drafts substantial litigation documents.
Cindy Arlana Singh previously served as a post-graduate fellow in the Appeals Division of the New York City Law Department. During that time, she researched and wrote appellate briefs and argued appeals before the Appellate Division, First and Second Judicial Departments.
Educated at St. John’s University School of Law, Cindy Arlana Singh completed her juris doctor in June 2012 and earned admission to the New York Bar in 2013. She was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 2014.
Her professional honors include a certificate of recognition from the New York State Courts' Access to Justice Program. Ms. Singh also recently co-authored “Preventing the Transnational Abduction of Children by Parents in the Civil Context: Risk Factors and Available Preventative Measures under New York Law,” an article published in the NYSBA Family Law Review, summer 2014 edition
