Christopher Uzzi



Vietnam War veteran Christopher Uzzi has a long history of leadership, dating from his time in the late 1960s as a Staff Sergeant Platoon Leader of the 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry 199 light infantry brigade ground force in Long Biên, Vietnam. Leading his men against enemy hostile attack, Christopher Uzzi demonstrated great valor and was honored for his efforts with two Bronze Star Medals and the Conspicuous Service Cross from the State of New York. Today, Christopher Uzzi continues to support those who serve in uniform through his association with the morale-boosting AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort. Christopher Uzzi places great value on leadership skills and is a graduate of the Christopher School of Leadership in New York City. Ranked 26th among men in their 60s in the Eastern Division of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), Christopher Uzzi competes regularly on the USPTA tennis circuit. With a professional tennis instructor’s license, Christopher Uzzi enjoys helping senior players realize their tennis goals. Christopher Uzzi gives back to the community through church-sponsored volunteer activities, working on housing efforts for people in disadvantaged communities.
