With a carefully calibrated career in health care and financial services information technology, Christopher Blair Preston holds distinction among clients and peers for his sharp intelligence and ownership of complex software design problems. A focused master programmer and software engineer, Christopher Blair Preston has worked in the field for more than two decades. Currently a Managing Partner at InterAppWare LLC and serving in the position of President at SepWare Inc., Christopher Blair Preston shares two U.S. patents with his mentor and has written the code for major portions of six commercial software products. While the defining achievements in his career have been in his specialty areas of relational database technology, transaction processing and rules based routing, and reliable messaging systems, like many computer science professionals, Christopher Blair Preston got his start as a systems administrator and software developer. Graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Christopher Blair Preston spent five years operating internationally for the U.S. Army before using his experience as an Information Management Officer to become a Unix System Administrator for the Intercomputer Communication Corporation in the United States. After working in network architecture and systems administration for some years, Christopher Blair Preston became a Vice President of Emerging Technologies at NEON Enterprise Software, where he collaborated with his mentor to coinvent the NEON Rules Engine. Following his work at NEON, he accepted high-level consulting opportunities at the management level as well as a Chief Technology Officer position for Diogenes Inc., where Christopher Blair Preston designed I-Mercury, a reliable messaging system, and wrote code for I-Tunnel, a scalable application gateway. Currently residing in Colorado, Christopher Blair Preston combines his responsibilities at InterAppWare LLC and SepWare Inc., with regular consulting projects and maintains charitable ties with The Episcopal Church.
