An alumnus of the University of Texas at Arlington's Finance program, Dr. Christopher Ngassam has come a long way since earning his PhD in 1989. Dr. Christopher Ngassam commenced his professional career as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Delaware, where he served as the Faculty Advisor for the Financial Management Association, Representative for the Department of Finance Library, and member of the University of Delaware Student Life Committee, in addition to teaching his students various areas of finance. Over the next 20 years, Dr. Christopher Ngassam continued to make an impact on students at institutions including Sultan Qaboos University, Saint Cloud State University, Norfolk State University, and Virginia State University. Today, Dr. Christopher Ngassam brings his extensive experience to his role as Associate Professor of Finance at Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he guides his students through courses such as Multinational Financial Management, Personal Finance, Bank Management, Securities Analysis & Portfolio Management, and Financial Engineering/Modeling. Having joined the faculty at Florida A&M in 2006, Dr. Christopher Ngassam has since become an integral part of the school's academic life. To this end, Dr. Christopher Ngassam maintains memberships in the Curriculum Committee, the Learning Assurance Committee, and the SBI ad hoc Promotion and Tenure Rules Committee. Dr. Christopher Ngassam also holds a role as Finance Area Coordinator for the Department of Accounting and Finance and is the Founding Faculty Advisor for the FAMU chapter of Financial Management Association International. Outside of teaching, Dr. Christopher Ngassam maintains a solid reputation as a talented author. With work published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals, such as the American Journal of Finance and Accounting, the Journal of Economics and Economic Education Review, and Managerial Finance, Dr. Christopher Ngassam is well known among colleagues, students, and peers for his authoritative take and comprehensive research. Dr. Christopher Ngassam's most current publications include forthcoming articles for the International Journal of Business Forecasting and Marketing Intelligence, the Global Review of Business and Economic Research, and the Academy of Information and Management Sciences Journal.
