About Christina Kauffmann
Christina Kauffmann - Professional Summary:
As Capture Manager on the Information Technology Agency suite of opportunities for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Solutions, Christina Kauffman prepares her company to win government contracts. She brings to this role nearly 20 years of military knowledge and experience, most of it IT-related, that she acquired in service to the United States Army. During that time, Christina Kauffman successfully performed the increasingly complex duties associated with a succession of managerial positions.
Ms. Kauffman started working for the government in 1989 as a Supervisory IT Specialist at the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania, where her work involved the supervision of about 20 co-workers carrying out duties related to financial and program controls, acquisition, information security, plans for information management, and internal controls. She also worked on a number of projects related to developing and implementing new technologies or upgrading existing ones. Receiving a promotion to Program Manager, Christina Kaufman came to direct not only 20 co-workers at Tobyhanna, but an additional 40 employees at other Army depots as well.
Christina Kauffman’s career next brought her to the Army Corps of Engineers, where she first served as the Chief of Information Management for the Engineers’ Philadelphia District. She then received a promotion to Regional Chief Information Officer for the North Atlantic Division, operating out of Brooklyn, New York, wrapping up her service to the Corps of Engineers with a stint in Washington, DC, as the Chief of the Performance and Acquisition Division.
In the almost 20 years she spent with the Army, Christina Kauffman supervised and managed IT projects and personnel at all levels in a wide variety of areas, some of which were local in nature, whereas others had a far-reaching military impact. Her intimate understanding of the military’s needs make her very well qualified to perform the capture management function for Lockheed Martin.
A resident of Scotrun, Pennsylvania, Christina Kauffman devotes a great deal of her personal time to the Wounded Warrior Project, Susan B. Komen for the Cure, and other charitable causes.
