I have an excellent record gained at Senior Manager level with Marks & Spencer plc, and have enjoyed a succession of customer focused leadership positions, most recently in Store Design & Development.

As Head of Store Environment & Implementation I played an instrumental role in the recovery and repositioning of the M&S brand in the UK through the development, trial and roll out of highly successful & critically acclaimed new store formats, leading a team of 12 in the largest ever UK Retail refurbishment initiative: A highly complex programme covering 12 million sq ft, 467 stores at a cost of £2 billion over 3 years.
I was responsible for the accurate, excellent and consistent application of design whilst ensuring that all schemes met rigorous financial criteria. I have matrix managed across all areas of construction and design.

Previous roles include Group catalogue controller, Sales Manager, Divisional & Store Management.

I am now looking to transfer my significant leadership and managerial abilities to a suitable role within either the Public or Private sector.

 

Two particular strengths are the development of the individual and the the team as well as the ability to provide robust structured processes and methodologies through excellent planning and organisational skills.
