Chris Kladopoulos - Professional Summary:
An accomplished clinical psychologist and researcher, Chris Kladopoulos received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stony Brook University, his Master’s degree in Psychology from the Queens College of The City University of New York, and his Master of Philosophy and Doctorate in Psychology and Learning Processes from The Graduate Center of The City University of New York. From the fall of 1990 to the spring of 1992, Chris Kladopoulos served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the Queens College of The City University of New York; he has been the recipient of three subsequent fellowships, including a psychology fellowship on the Professional Staff Congress of the City University of New York (PSC-CUNY). Additionally, Chris Kladopoulos has received two PSC-CUNY Research Awards, one in 1998 and one in 2003.
Besides being an active practitioner and student of psychology, Chris Kladopoulos has conducted research on numerous subjects within the field. In August of 2002, Chris Kladopoulos presented “The relation between psychological and cognitive-behavioral symptoms of panic disorder” at the poster session of the World Congress of Psychiatry in Yokohama, Japan. At the same conference, Chris Kladopoulos and his colleagues also gave a talk entitled “Assessment of the obsessive-compulsive inventory (OCI).” In November 2002, Chris Kladopoulos and several of his fellow professionals discussed their paper, “Subtypes of panic disorder and associated cognitions,” at the annual meeting of the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy, which was held in Reno, Nevada. In 2005, Chris Kladopoulos and his colleague P. H. Ramsey wrote “A more robust procedure for testing the null hypothesis in MANOVA,” an article that appeared in the journal InterStat.
