Standout high-school graduate Chelsie Zents plans to attend Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, in fall 2013. She recently earned her diploma from Brookville Jr./Sr. High School in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Looking forward to beginning a new chapter in her life, Chelsie Zents expects to major in marketing and minor in business management.
An active citizen within her local community, Chelsie Zents balanced much of her high-school career with volunteer work by helping out at local American Red Cross blood drives, church fundraisers, and an assisted-living center. A driven student, she took collegiate-level courses at Brookville Jr./Sr. High, and she participated in the school’s German and ecology clubs.
In addition, from 2011 to 2013, Zents also held down a part-time job as shift manager of the local Dairy Queen. She received a certificate of achievement from the district manager for managing a well-kept store. During her free time, Chelsie Zents enjoys bowling and playing volleyball and softball. She played all three of these sports throughout high school, and she also follows professional basketball, her favorite team being the Miami Heat.
