Scouting for Art is about providing fine art straight to you at realistic prices.

Scouting for Art was founded in 2008. I have always wished to have a gallery of my own some day but I needed the experience and the funds to do so, so I thought of the idea of representing artists to sell their work to the general public by arranging viewings, organizing exhibitions and previewing their work on this website. As we don't have a gallery, the art is very affordably priced.

So this is how SfA was born and it's all about providing fine art straight to you. We go scouting around the country in search of new, exciting and talented artists, represent them and sell their work directly to the buyer.

We aim to provide a personal service finding the right art for the right environment and as SfA is small, we have a close relationship with both the artists and buyers so we can arrange commission work too.

All the art we deal with are original, unique pieces of work which makes them much more desirable and personal.

We can arrange for you to visit the artist's studio or we can bring the art to your home or work premises.

At Present: Scouting for Art.com - Founder
Started this idea/project myself on the hope that it will soon progress into a small
company representing graduate artists, promoting and selling their work directly to
companies and private buyers at affordable prices.
2007 to 2009: St Ronans House Ltd - Company Secretary
As a company secretary and a key player in management, I coordinate the general
maintenance and upkeep of the property to a high standard.
Roles include managing people including the residents (12 Flats) and contractors.
Keeping a detailed database of all accounts and making sure all invoices and service
charges are paid to date.
2004 to 2008: Century Displays - Graphic/Production Designer
Responsible for designing and making awards (platinum, gold discs etc) for the music
and game industry, involving graphic/web design and hands on production. Liaising
with clients to ensure that their precise specifications are met and completing the whole
process from start to finish. Clients include Island Records, Sony BMG, EMI as well as
smaller labels such as Domino Records.
