Charlie Stypick - Professional Summary:   

 

After joining the United States Army in 2001, Charlie Stypick enrolled at Niagara University in New York the next year. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2004. At the time, Charlie Stypick already possessed an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Jamestown Community College, also located in New York. In 2005, after completing his undergraduate studies, Charlie Stypick joined the team at Citigroup Inc. in Amherst, New York. He initially served as an Operations Clerk and, after six months, advanced to Intermediate Operations Representative.

Charlie Stypick left Citigroup in February 2007 to work at Purdue Pharma L.P. Located in Stamford, Connecticut, the pharmaceutical company produces prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as health care items, such as first-aid products. In less than a year after joining Purdue Pharma as an Imaging Processor, Charlie Stypick earned a promotion to Master Files Associate. Among his many responsibilities, he confirms that vendor master data, which he maintains, meets guidelines established by the company and the Internal Revenue Service.

While working at Purdue Pharma, Charlie Stypick continued to serve in the U.S. Army. Just eight years after enlisting, he achieved the rank of Sergeant in 2009. In 2010, he served in Afghanistan and oversaw an intelligence team. He carried out a vast array of duties as Sergeant, such as overseeing the supply room, confirming that soldiers possessed the proper equipment during in-field training, and assessing lower-ranked soldiers.

An active member of the community, Charlie Stypick organized a benefit event for Habitat for Humanity International, for which he received commendation. Charlie Stypick’s participation in U.S. Army and ROTC events also resulted in award and medals.
