About Charles Eadie

Charles Eadie attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where he graduated with a BS in Economics with honors, interned with the Congressional Budget Office and earned the Marshall and Truman scholarships. While studying on the Marshall Scholarship, Charles Eadie completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics at London School of Economics and a Masters of War Studies with distinction from King’s College London. Charles Eadie also completed the following Army courses: Special Forces Assessment and Selection, Ranger, Sapper, Airborne, Military Free Fall (HALO), Pathfinder, and Air Assault. Charles Eadie served as an infantry officer and led teams in combat as a rifle platoon leader in Iraq and a detachment commander in Afghanistan. He served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Commander General of the Rule of Law Field Force—Afghanistan, where he coordinated hundreds of key leader engagements to include meetings with Ambassadors, Afghan officials, interagency leaders and all levels of the military. Charles Eadie also played an integral role in the establishment of the NATO Rule of Law Field Support. In addition, Charles Eadie served as the Commander of the Mobile Security Detachment in which he led and trained a new team to ensure that all elements remained at the high level of readiness required to initiate and execute maneuver operations in multiple provinces of Afghanistan engaged in armed conflict. Presently in 2013, Charles Eadie transitioned to the private sector and took a role as Director of Business Development for Power Brokers, an energy consulting company.
