An acknowledged expert in interventional pain management, Dr. Charles Daknis has shared his expertise in a variety of clinical and academic settings. He most recently appeared before the staff of New York City's Beth Israel Hospital, where he delineated techniques of spinal stimulation. Charles Daknis, MD, has also discussed this technique and its uses in military medical care, a practice that he has presented at the McGuire United States Air Force Base and Fort Dix, New Jersey.
Particularly involved in the development and application of cervical spine techniques, he has written on this topic in Pain Physician, the journal of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Charles Daknis has pursued extensive continuing education with the society and with leading interventional pain specialists across the U.S. and beyond. One of only a few physicians to earn board certification in interventional pain management, he has held quadruple board certifications since 2010. Dr. Daknis currently practices at the Spine and Pain Centers of New Jersey and New York, where his patient base includes numerous medical colleagues.
